Though we didn’t have rehearsal, the first weekend of May was still a busy one for the Bushwackers. On Saturday morning our new website launched at Bushwackers.org! (If you’re reading this, I imagine you’ve already noticed.)
In addition to the new, cleaner look and layout, the new site should be very easy to use and find what you’re looking for. It also features a greatly expanded media section, with extensive collections of photos and videos. Also, we now have a HUGE merchandise line through CafePress. And on the business end, it is now easier than ever for members to pay their Tuition online, or to either donate to the corps, or sponsor a member.
In other news, we had a recruiting booth at TIA/NJA Championships in Wildwood, NJ. Over four days our team worked 48 hours, getting word about the Corps out there and getting info from a significant amount of potential members. Hopefully we’ll see most of them at rehearsal this weekend: May 12 at Central Park in Lawrence Township, NJ. We’ll have off Sunday for Mother’s Day, so it should be a short but productive weekend. Now that the Indoor Season is over and we can kick Drum Corps Season into high gear.
There are still a few spots available in all sections, so come check it out, it is shaping up to be a great summer!
