As you may have read in our prior announcemnt, the crisis is now over and we are incredibly grateful to all the Alumni and Friends for their generous and very quick financial support. Now that the creditor has been paid off, all our equipment and assets are safe and the drum corps is financially sound. Not only has this crisis brought people together to save the corps, it has actually helped catapault the corps with more forward momentum than we have seen in the last few years!
We are now able to start a new AND EXCITING chapter of the Bushwackers!
Many folks have come out to embark on the new season with lots and lots of administrative assistance. A new board of directors is being put in place including John Hannigan, John Gough, and Bob McCarthy (Pugsley), as well as some other long-time drum corps veterans. AND we have been busy hiring many new and creative instructors over the past 2-3 weeks with full announcements to follow starting in the next couple of days.
This is a momentus time for the Bushwackers and you are certainly going to want to keep your eyes and ears peeled for news over the coming weeks as we prepare for our Open House on November 25. After all, you are a part of the lifeline that gave the corps a continued chance to create the next generation of Bushwackers!
