The Bushwackers are proud to announce the addition of Mike Dow to the 2016 educational staff as visual caption manager.
After aging out with the Madison Scouts in 2006, Mike immediately began working with the percussion staff of the Troopers (from 2007 to 2009), Carolina Crown (in 2010 and 2011), and the Madison Scouts (from 2012 to 2014).
Mike recently served with the Upper Darby High School marching band and indoor percussion group as visual caption head and designer, leading the WGI group in its advance to World Class. Previously, he was the staff coordinator for United Percussion, serving from 2011 to 2013. Mike’s history on the staff of United Percussion extends back to 2006.
Mike is a graduate of Rutgers University with a degree in computer science. In addition to teaching, adjudicating, designing, and consulting for marching programs in the Philadelphia area, Mike is an IT professional.
