Eric Ficarra returns to the Bushwackers Percussion Staff in 2017 as a Battery Tech. Eric holds a bachelors degree in Music Education, percussion concentration, from the University of Delaware.
Ficarra was a member of the championship 2014 Reading Buccaneers bass line, as well as a four year member of the University of Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hen Marching Band bass line. He has taught in many different teaching environments and as a variety of different roles.
He completed student teaching at Havre de Grace Middle School in Maryland and Lake Forest Central Elementary and High Schools in Felton, Delaware. In addition, Ficarra has taught at Newark High School in Newark DE, Monroe Township High School in Monroe NJ on the percussion staff, and is the Assistant Band Director at Middletown High School North in Middletown NJ.
