John started his marching career with Trumbull High School and later went on to perform with the Blessed Sacrament Winter Guard. In the world of DCA, John performed with the Connecticut Hurricanes, the Hawthorne Caballeros and the Bushwackers from 2002-2006. He became a choreographer and a member of the design team for the Hawthorne Caballeros in 2007 and was a choreographer for the Connecticut Hurricanes Color Guard in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2014. In 2015 he was the Co-caption Supervisor and choreographer for the Cadets 2 Color Guard.
In addition, John has served as the Visual and Program Designer for Trumbull High School Color Guard and Winter Guard (2002-Present). Trumbull is the 2006 WGI Scholastic Open Class Bronze Medalist and is an eight-time WGI Scholastic World Class Finalist (2007, 2009-2015).
John is also the Visual and Program Designer for the Alter Ego Organization (2008-Present) and was appointed Director of the program in 2010. Alter Ego is the 2008 WGI Independent Open Class Gold Medalist and is a seven-time WGI Independent World Class Finalist (2009-2015).
In addition to designing and instructing, he works as a Corporate Accountant/Budget Analyst for the Subway Corporation and currently resides in Derby, CT.
