Mike Denburg is joining the Bushwackers Percussion Staff for the 2016 season. He has been involved with drum corps since his first season playing snare with the Raiders in 2007. He stayed with the corps through 2009 when he was drum captain. He then had the privilege of playing snare in United Percussion in 2009 and 2010 when they placed in the top 6 groups in WGI Independent World Class. He also marched in the Reading Buccaneers snare line in 2011 when they won High Percussion.
Mike graduated from the University of Maryland in 2011 with a degree in Mathematics and Secondary Education. He is currently a math teacher at West Orange High School and is also the Assistant Marching Band Director and Battery Arranger, as well as the Indoor Percussion Ensemble Director there. He also performs with Gallant Entertainment Inc. as a member of the Giants and Jets Drumlines.
