This Sunday, April 17 near Princeton, New Jersey, the Bushwackers Drum Corps will be holding auditions for the color guard for the corps’ 35th anniversary season. After a successful Open House in November and Free Spin Clinic in March, our guard program is taking shape, and we are preparing for one of the strongest color guards in years for the Bushwackers.
The auditions for the 2016 color guard will be held at the Montgomery Township Upper Middle School in Skillman, NJ. The day will begin at 9:00 am and will go until 5:00 pm. For more information, world-class designers for the 2016 Bushwackers color guard, as well as our caption manager Lauryn Heller and supervisor Mickey Kelly. Joining Lauryn and Mickey on the instructional side will be Daniel Krasner, Lance Boggs, Danielle Marone, Samantha Burns, and others to be announced soon.
This Sunday’s auditions will be held in a Spin Clinic format, allowing all those interested in the Bushwackers to learn techniques and routines with the Bushwackers insutrctional staff. The free event is open to everyone regardless of skill level, and will be a great learning opportunity. Like the previous spin clinics presented by the Bushwackers, everyone who participates will learn something that can be brought back to his or her own indoor and outdoor programs.
