Cody is a graduate of Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, with a degree in Music Education (trumpet). Since graduating in 2010, Cody has enjoyed a career in the NJ public schools teaching music.
He has been working with central NJ high school marching bands for the past 8 years, primarily focusing on the visual aspects of show design and execution. Cody has worked with the Westfield HS band, JP Stevens HS band, and currently works with the Ridge HS band. He is thrilled to join the Bushwackers in their 2014 season!
Cody is the flugelhornist of the 2012 NABBA champion Princeton Brass Band. He also works as an active free-lance trumpet player and has a growing private lesson studio.
