Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Leighann began her Color Guard career in 2000 as a member of the Bpex Winter Guard from Newark, DE. From there she spent a wonderful 8 years (2004-2011) as a member of the Crossmen Drum & Bugle Corps, where she spent her last three years as captain. Leighann also spent time marching with the Black Watch Winter Guard and four years with Field of View Winter Guard from West Chester, Pennsylvania.
Immediately after high school and entering college, Leighann began teaching and designing for many high schools in the Southeastern Pennsylvania area including; Abington, Ridley, Rustin and Penncrest High School’s. The past two summer’s Leighann returned to her alma mater where she served as a Color Guard technician for the Crossmen Drum & Bugle Corps. Today she is the Color Guard Director for the Penncrest High School Color Guard.
Outside of the marching activity Leighann spends her time working as a medical receptionist.
