Samantha Liss joins the 2015 Bushwackers Percussion Staff as a Front Ensemble Tech. Samantha has been a part of Drum Corps International since the age of fifteen. She started her drum corps career with the Jersey Surf Drum and Bugle Corps in 2009 where she played synthesizer, and then advanced to play center marimba the next year. In 2011, Samantha went to Carolina Crown where she played vibraphone in 2011 and 2012. She then spent two more years with Crown as the center marimba and section leader in 2013 and 2014.
Liss has also spent four years performing with the WGI Indoor Percussion Ensemble United Percussion as a member of the Front Ensemble.
Samantha has taught and wrote for numerous high schools, including Edison HS, Council Rock HS South, Council Rock HS North, and New Providence HS.
