SMART Performances encompasses multiple ensembles and groups including our flagship group, the 6 time DCA World Champion Bushwackers Drum & Bugle Corps. Specializing in the marching arts, we are available for a variety of celebrations and events, serving as a professional for-hire Marching Band in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania!

SmART Entertainment took the spotlight in one of the country’s top late-night television show, with comedian John Oliver. The Bushwackers Drum & Bugle Corps performed on the set of “The Daily Show With Jon Stewart” performing on the segment called “The Marching Band News You Can Barely Hear!” This was the first of THREE performances on The Daily Show by the Bushwackers.
The Bushwackers Drum & Bugle Corps had the honor of performing for thousands of athletes, coaches, supporters, and a worldwide online audience as the opening act for the 2014 Special Olympics USA Games Closing Ceremonies.
With it’s scenic course at Rutgers University, the UNITE Half Marathon is New Jersey’s finest. And it is even better when the runners are greeted at the finish line by the Bushwackers.
