Anthony started his marching career in 2002 at Highland Regional High School as a front ensemble member. He performed in the marching band for four years playing percussion. Aside from Percussion, Anthony has studied brass instruments, leading him to perform as a Tuba player for one year. Progressing as a veteran, Mr. Graves helped to propel the program to successes that it had yet to achieve in its history. In 2006 Anthony joined the Bushwackers Front Ensemble for their 25th Anniversary show; an honor which has stayed with him to this day.

Anthony has had the privilege of working with many different band programs including: Deptford, Highland, Washington Twp, Pitman High Schools, and Rapid Fire. He is currently the Percussion caption head at Deptford, and the Director of the Highland Indoor Percussion Ensemble.

Anthony received his Bachelor’s in Music and the Arts from Rowan University and took part in the Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, Orchestra, Percussion Ensemble, jazz combos and the Rowan Marimba Band. He currently resides in Blackwood, New Jersey; though he ventures to New York to perform in Gallant Entertainment Inc, where he plays for the New York Giants, Jets, Rangers, and Knicks. Anthony is currently working on incorporating a percussion repair business into his schedule. Anthony Graves is both honored and privileged to return to the Bushwackers Drum and Bugle Corps and cannot wait for another great season. BUSH!
