John Herbert Molloy holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance with a concentration in Trumpet from Montclair State University. He marched with The Bushwackers in 2000, 2013, & 2014. In 2013 he also taught the corps, and in 2014, he was also Co-Brass Caption Head. For 2021, 2024, and 2025 he was on The Bushwackers brass staff as well. Through the years he also marched with The Cadets, Sunrisers, Caballeros, Reading Buccaneers, and Cadets2.
He taught brass at The Santa Clara Vanguard, Cadets2, The Cadets, Fusion Corps (Brass Caption Head 2017 & 2018), Skyliners Alumni (Brass Caption Head 2020-2026), Reading Buccaneers, and The Oregon Crusaders. John is so excited to be back with The Bushwackers for the 2027 season as The Brass Caption Manager.
A fun fact about him is that he was a samba whistle soloist, soprano bugle soloist, and Mellophone instructor at Cadets2 Drum Corps for their championship season in 2016!
John was inducted into The Buglers Hall of Fame in 2019, The Cadets Hall of Fame in 2020, and just recently The Tri-State Drum Corps Hall of Fame for 2026. He has a huge amount of gratitude for the marching arts, and he will be celebrating 29 consecutive years in Drum Corps!
John is honored to be spending the upcoming 2027 season with The Bushwackers! It’s going to be a fantastic season!
Adam Germ is a pageantry arts educator and designer from Allentown, Pennsylvania. He is an alumnus of the Quakertown Community High School Class of 2019.
Adam began his performing career with his high school marching band, and after graduating, went on to perform with other ensembles such as The Cadets2 (2018) and the Blue Stars (2019-2022) drum corps. Since aging out of DCI, Adam has worked with, and designed for, many high school programs up and down the east coast, including Central Bucks South, Northwestern Lehigh, and North Penn High Schools. He also taught previously on the visual staffs at several DCI organizations, including the Bushwackers (All-Age), Genesis, and most recently the Blue Stars.
Currently, Adam heads and designs the visual program at North Penn for both their fall marching band and winter percussion groups, who are now USBands and WGI Finalists respectively. He also is the current Visual Caption Head at United Percussion (PIW) and visual designer for United Percussion 2 (PIO) throughout the WGI competitive season.
Adam is extremely excited for the opportunity to make his impact leading the visual program at the Bushwackers this summer!
Hailing from Marple Newtown, PA, Ben Fastman is an emergency services professional, educator, and an active member of the performing arts community. Ben currently works in emergency management and serves as a Firefighter/EMT in Southeast Pennsylvania. He is a Captain with his local fire company, where his work includes developing and implementing 9-1-1 education programs designed to better prepare the community for emergencies. He is also proud to serve as a part of the Emergency Management Division with the Chester County Department of Emergency Services.
Ben has continued his education with Neumann University, West Chester University, and the National Disaster and Emergency Management University, with a focus on Emergency Management and Planning.
Outside of emergency services, Ben serves as the Assistant Marching Band Director with Marple Newtown. He has performed with organizations including the Jersey Surf, Cadets2, the Reading Buccaneers, Imperial Dynasty, and United Percussion. He returned to the staff of Imperial Dynasty in 2026.
Ben is thrilled to return to the Bushwackers for his 6th season!
Michael began his marching career at Urbana High School in Frederick, Maryland, and quickly fell in love with the activity. While attending Towson University, Michael joined the Towson University Front Ensemble and became a member of various world-class DCI and WGI ensembles, including Imperial Dynasty, The George Mason University Indoor Drumline, United Percussion, and The Cadets Drum & Bugle Corps. He concluded his marching career as the Front Ensemble Section Leader at The Boston Crusaders Drum & Bugle Corps in 2024.
Michael is currently an educator and arranger based out of the D.C metro area and works with various ensembles across the Northeast, most notably with The Towson University Marching Band and The George Mason University Indoor Drumline. This will be Michael’s second year as the Front Ensemble Caption Manager for the Bushwackers Drum & Bugle Corps.
Taylor began her marching career with her high school program all five years with the color guard, along with an indoor season with the percussion. She began her outdoor independent marching career with the Bushwackers Drum and Bugle Corps (2014, 2018-2022). During the indoor seasons, Taylor spent her time with the visual ensemble of United Percussion (2016), Surge Independent (2019), and The Black Watch (2020-2022).
Taylor began her teaching career with her high school program as the color guard director for both the indoor and outdoor ensembles (2017-2021). Currently, Taylor is the program coordinator and color guard caption head at Cherokee High School and she will be spending her indoor season as the visual caption head of United Percussion 2. This will be her fifth year teaching The Bushwackers color guard, spending her last two as the caption coordinator, and looks forward to an amazing first year as the color guard caption head!
Samantha is excited to return to the Bushwackers for her 11th summer!
Samantha began her marching career with four years in the Washington Township High School marching band and indoor color guard. After graduating high school, she marched two years with the Co-Motion Open Winterguard (2012-2013). She found her love for teaching color guard at Washington Township HS in 2012 and has been teaching at WTHS ever since, where she is currently serving as Color Guard Caption Head for both the WTHS marching band and winterguard programs. She spent three seasons as part of the AMP Winterguard staff (2019-2021), working with their Independent A class group; two seasons as part of the Kingsway Indoor Percussion design team; and is returning for her second season with Imperial Dynasty Percussion as Visual Co-Caption Head.
Mike resides from Williamstown, New Jersey and is very excited to be entering his 6th year on staff with the Bushwackers Drum & Bugle Corps. After spending time as both Battery Coordinator and Percussion Caption Head, Mike excited to be entering his new role as Ensemble Coordinator and Co-Battery Arrange for the 2026 season.
As a performer, Mike began his marching career at Williamstown High School in 2010 and continued his passion for the next 10 years, performing for many ensembles during that time. This includes Fusion “Core” (DCA) 2015-2017, Imperial Dynasty (WGI PIO) 2017-2018, Spirit of Atlanta (DCI) 2018-2019, and United Percussion (WGI PIW) 2019-2020.
Once completing his time as a performer, Mike has had the pleasure of teaching a number of groups in the tri-state area. This includes Kingsway Regional High School, Cab Calloway School of the Arts, and United Percussion. Currently, Mike is serving his third season with Imperial Dynasty as Battery Caption Head and Arranger.
