Michael Surkin returns to the Bushwackers in 2016 for his second year on the instructional staff, handling visual and brass teaching responsibilities. A 6 year DCI veteran, Michael was both the trumpet section leader and the horn sergeant of the Jersey Surf Drum & Bugle Corps. In 2013 he aged out with the Madison Scouts Drum & Bugle Corps.
Recently graduating from Kutztown University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music, Michael also works with the marching band at Central Bucks High School East.
