Face masks as they will be worn at all times when social distancing is not possible. Brass players will also wear masks at all times except off the mouth when playing. As there will be some marching, movement and dance, dress comfortably in sneakers and clothes that allow movement (no jeans), water jugs…… and a great attitude ready to learn, laugh and make new friends!
Brass: Mouthpiece. We will have marching brass instruments but may not have enough for everyone depending on turnout. Also, you may feel more comfortable using your own brass instrument in this Covid environment. If you are able, bring your own trumpet, baritone/euphonium or tuba in Bb and mellophone in F, music stand with clips to hold music and tuner.
Percussion: Sticks, mallets, drum pads, and music stands with clips to hold music (if you have them).
Color Guard: Comfortable athletic or form fitting clothes that allow movement/dance, sneakers or dance shoes. Bring your own saber or rifle if you are able.
Lunch: Lunch will be provided to all participants. The Bushwackers Open House is being sponsored/fueled by The Original Thin Crust Pizza Company and Bushwackers Alumnus Matt Verney. If you have dietary restrictions that don’t allow for pizza, please pack a lunch.
