As the Bushwackers enter their 32nd year of providing exceptional drum corps experiences, we are proud to announce that Robbie Robinson will join the staff as Percussion and Program consultant. Robbie’s drum corps history is legendary as he has marched with the Blue Devils and Crossmen drum and bugle corps, has won several Individual snare drum championships in both DCI and DCA, and was inducted into the World Drum Corps Hall of Fame in 2007. He has also led both the Reading Buccaneers and the Bushwackers drum lines to receive high percussion awards. Read Robbie’s full bio here.
“We are extremely excited to have Robbie on board with us this year.” said Bushwackers Director, Bob Gupta. “Although a percussionist at heart, Robbie’s wealth of knowledge on both the teaching fronts as well as all things drum corps will help us grow all aspects of the organization to a world-class level.”
“When I was a teenager at the Skyliners, Robbie was the epitome of ‘WHATEVER IT TAKES’.” said Bushwackers Program Coordinator, Minesh Shah. “Robbie is one of my inspirations in this activity.”
The Bushwackers kick off their 2013 season at the FREE Bushwackers Open House on Sunday, November 25, 2012 at the Princeton Day School (650 Great Rd, Princeton, NJ) starting at 11am. Come and check out all the great things that are going on!
