Mike Poulin recently received his Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst. While there he studied horn with Laura Klock, and marching music with George Parks, Thomas Hannum, and Michael Klesch. He also received a diploma in Band Instrument Repair from Minnesota State College Southeast Techincal – Red Wing. In 2010, He rooked-out with DCI Open Class five-time gold medalist, The Spartans Drum and Bugle Corps – where he was the mellophone soloist and recipient of the “Friends of DCI” scholarship and “Spartan of the Year” award. He has taught at both the high school and drum corps level. He currently resides in Littleton, NH as an employee of Lawson Horns – maker of hand made custom French Horns.
